After months of speculation, the end was swift. All eyes had been on lawmaker Ronny Tong Ka-wah since Sunday night as rumours swirled he was going to quit politics. Tong woke up earlier than usual yesterday to reflect one last time before announcing his decision. At 8am he sent a letter to colleagues saying that he was quitting the Civic Party.
